Todd Hannigan has over 25 years of global experience in natural resources as company founder, chief executive officer, private capital investor and non-executive director. In these lead roles Todd has helped build multiple billion-dollar companies in the private and public markets. He is Executive Chairman of IperionX (ASX:IPX). Previously, Todd worked internationally in the extraction and resources sector for Aston Resources, Xstrata Coal, Hanson PLC, BHP Billiton and MIM. Todd holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) from The University of Queensland and an MBA from INSEAD.

Bernardo started his career as an Investment Banker with UBS & Azure Capital in Australia, where he worked in a team that advised many leading companies in mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, hybrid instruments and debt advisory.

Prior to founding Brazilian Rare Earths, Bernardo spent the last decade in senior leadership roles in a number of mining companies in Brazil, including as CEO of a producing tungsten mine, Managing Director of a gold exploration company and from 2015 to 2021 CEO of South American Ferro Metals Limited, a privately owned iron ore producer that grew from a bankrupt business in 2015 producing c.700ktpa when Bernardo took over as CEO to a highly profitable company producing c2.5Mtpa in 2021.

Bernardo has also held a number of executive and non executive directorship roles in
ASX listed as well as private mining and mining services companies.

Bernardo holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with First Class Honours, a PhD in Financial and Economic Modelling from the University of Western Australia and a Diploma in Financial Strategy from Oxford University. He graduated top of his class at both the UWA Honours program and Oxford. He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Bernardo has lectured at UWA, Curtin and FINSIA. He has also been a prize winning speaker at several international conferences. In addition, Bernardo has published several articles in international scholarly journals and has acted as an expert witness on a number of court cases.

Bernardo was born in Brazil and speaks fluent English and Portuguese.

Camilla is a renewable energy expert with over 21 years of experience in Latin America in the solar PV, wind, energy storage, green hydrogen, and bioenergy sectors. She currently serves as Managing Director for CELA (Clean Energy Latin America), she is also a Board of Directors Member and Vice-President of Finance at the Brazilian PV Association (ABSOLAR) and Board Member the Superior Board of Infrastructure at the Federation of Industry of the State of São Paulo (COINFRA – FIESP).

Camila has extensive experience in equity fundraising, project financing, mergers & acquisitions, and financial analysis. She holds a Bachelor of Science and an MSc from the London School of Economics.

Eric Noyrez is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the energy and materials sectors. He is currently CEO of AGENACTION SAS, focusing on sustainable supply chains for energy and mobility markets. He also serves as the Lead Independent Board Director at Neo Performance Materials. His career includes leadership roles at Serra Verde Group, Denham Capital, Texas Rare Earth Resources, Lynas Corporation, Solvay, and Shell. Known for his global expertise and strategic vision, Noyrez has driven growth and innovation across various industries.

Kristie has over 26 years’ experience across mining engineering, business development, project evaluation, marketing, strategy, growth, and corporate governance. She has held senior growth and Business Development Director roles with both EY and PwC. As a mining engineer she worked with Mt Isa Mines, Plutonic Gold, Hamersley Iron, Gunpowder Copper, New Hampton Goldfields and Surpac. Kristie has over 15 years’ experience on boards and committees including current Non-Executive directorships with Lithium Australia Ltd, Corazon Mining Ltd, Tasmea Ltd and MinEx CRC.

Kristie holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) with Honours from The University of Queensland, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the AusIMM.

Renato has 17 years of total professional experience in execution of deals, distressed/ turnaround situations in the natural resources industry in Brazil and the U.S. Previous experience includes leading the M&A and Investor Relations functions for MMX Metals and Mining. Renato has also worked as a CFO for a US Agtech company and as an investment banker for G5 Partners. Renato holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil and an MBA from IMD Switzerland.

Tiago boasts 16 years of professional expertise in mining project development, with a track record of successes in Brazil and West Africa. He excels in Strategy Development, Processing, Feasibility Studies, Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning.

With a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Tiago recently held the role of Project and Processing Manager at Bemisa. There, he oversaw Non-Ferrous projects, successfully taking a greenfield gold project from concept to commissioning in northern Brazil. His career includes impactful roles at AngloGold Ashanti, Ausenco, Pöyry, SNC Lavalin, and South American Ferro Metals, further solidifying his expertise in mining project management and development.

John is an experienced finance leader with over 20 years’ experience spanning listed-company reporting, complex corporate transactions, technical accounting and cross-border integration. Prior to joining BRE, John held senior finance roles at Arcadium Lithium, Google and PwC. John is a CFA Charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant (Michigan, USA). John holds a Bachelors in Accountancy from Calvin University and Masters in Accountancy from Grand Valley State University.

Jonathan has over 21 years of corporate advisory experience. He has extensive cross border experience specializing in corporate advisory, scale up and debt and equity financing, across a broad range of industry sectors. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce. Jonathan currently serves as a director of Hartness Consulting Pty Ltd, established in 2012 specializing in corporate advisory and debt and equity services to private and publicly listed companies in a range of sectors including technology, healthcare and resources.

Kurt has over 21 years of experience in metals and minerals processing and technology development including more than 15 years specific to rare earth elements and other critical metals.

Kurt started his career at an engineering firm in London undertaking process development, testwork management, feasibility studies, detailed engineering design and construction projects in Australia, North Africa, South America, Asia and Europe.

Prior to joining Brazilian Rare Earths he was Chief Technology Officer and Director of Medallion Resources (now Gabo Mining) as well as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Metallurgist for Innovation Metals Corp. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Ucore Rare Metals Inc.). At Medallion he was responsible for the development of their proprietary Medallion Monazite Process and later the Ligand-Assisted Displacement Chromatography technology platform licensed from Purdue University. At IMC he was responsible for the development and scale-up of their proprietary solvent extraction technology platform, RapidSX. Both companies were primarily focused on the REE supply chain including primary production and separation of REE.

He has been an advisor to a number of public and private companies assisting with process development and innovation, project feasibility as well as strategic planning and execution with a particular focus on REE.

He holds a BEng(Chemical) (first class) and PhD in Engineering from the University of Sydney.

Trevor is a finance professional with over 8 years of experience across private equity and investment banking. Trevor was most recently a Vice President at Denham Capital where he focused on the financing, construction and ramp-up of Serra Verde Rare Earths, the first operation outside Asia to produce all four magnetic rare earths at scale. Prior to joining Denham, Trevor also held roles on Sprott’s private investments team and PI Financial’s mining investment banking team. Trevor is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.
